Once logged in, you will see a world map. On the map you will find different tools and you will see a blue bar in the bottom of the screen, a date box centred in the top of the map, to the top right a graphical representation of a person which opens user preferences, in the bottom right icons representing the drawing tool, home and zoom in/out buttons. To the top left you have a search field and just to the left of that you find an icon of the vertical lines which opens the main menu. The menu and the user preferences are described shortly here and in detail in separate sections in the user manual.

The World Map:
Based on your settings you can have icons for incidents, ports, boundaries, drawings, AIS data and much more displayed. When you click an icon, you will open a corresponding dossier providing further information. If you click a country, you will be taken to the country dossier.
The date picker:
Clicking the top centre grey box will take you to the date picker where you decide the date range for incident information on the screen. Please note that you need to have incidents or the news banner toggled on for the date picker to appear.
User preferences:
Clicking the user preferences will provide you the options related to maps, vessel views, news banner, incident preferences, as well as email notifications on incidents and threat assessments.
Drawing tool & zoom in/out:
Lower right you will short cut find buttons to drawing tool giving you access to drawings of lines, polygons, and circles. The marker icon allows you to save a coordinate on the map to your clipboard. Just below you will find the 'zoom in' and 'zoom out' button as well as a button which will zoom to full world view.
News banner:
The bottom blue bar is a news banner informing about new incidents and threat assessments. All the information in the news banner is linked and clicking them will take you directly to the corresponding dossier. The news banner looks 14 days back. If you prefer a “clean” screen you can deactivate the news banner in the user preferences.
Main Menu:
Clicking the arrows in the main menu on the left will shift the view from shortcuts to full menu. In the full menu you can select visuals and functions on the world map as well as going further into the various options covering: Notifications, Incidents, My Fleet, Ports, Routes, History, Risk Intelligence Maritime Areas, Boundaries, Drawings, Maps/Charts, Documents, Save Setup, Feedback & Support, and access the Help Centre.
