The Lite Mode is a function meant to limit the strain of the Risk Intelligence System on the internet connection, and is meant for low-broadband environments.
If you have a lot of functions toggled on the system, and you are located somewhere with a poor internet connection – for example underway on a vessel – the system may not perform well due to the lacking connectivity.
If you open the system, and have a poor connection, the system will automatically prompt the user, if they want to change to 'Lite Mode'.
Alternatively, you can toggle 'Lite Mode on/off' in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Activating 'Lite Mode' will revert the system to a basic layout, with the Risk Intelligence Default map, one month of incidents, and no additional functions added.'
