The Risk Intelligence Maritime Area is an area mapped out by Risk Intelligence. Some covers recognized bodies of water, and some will be custom defined by the Risk Intelligence Team.
You access the areas by clicking the Risk Intelligence Maritime Areas icon in the left side of the screen. You can also access the areas, by using the search bar.
If you open the 'Maritime Areas' via the menu, this will also highlight the areas on the map in dark blue. You can hover your mouse over the area to get the name of the area, and click it to open the Area dossier, giving you access to Area details, and links to the Area Threat Assessment and documents.
You can toggle the Maritime Areas on/off by expanding the side menu, and pressing the eye-icon:
